I understand that Guillaume Musso is one of the most successful fiction writers in France in recent years. It only makes sense if many of the French readers want idiotic, simplistic soap-opera-esque stories like this one. The plot of a woman who comes back from the dead to kill the girlfriend of the protagonist who oops! didn't die in a plane crash because she missed the plane is so stupid it doesn't deserve further discussion. Also, the writing in this book must have been at the level of a fourth-grader or I wouldn't have been able to understand it so easily, as I am far from fluent in French.
i bought all guillaume musso's book on and i love them all. he takes us with him to this incredible journey
this book is a good one for those learning french. it started a little slow at the beginning but then it got interesting enough to keep reading the story and learning new french vocabulary.
it is a beautiful story and well written.
